MHV – Mobile Hose Vehicle

Our purpose built MHV vans are equipped with custom designed storage, racking, and workbench systems for Cat® Mobile Hose Hydraulic Service Vehicles. They feature oil-resistant spray-on liner in the work area and lightweight wall linings to protect it from damage and prevent lost parts. Each MHV has a 12-volt DC system that powers the Cat® hose saw and crimp tool, as well as auxiliary lighting, air compressor and other equipment. With safety, ergonomics, and efficiency in mind, our MHV solution provides all the tooling and equipment needed to take your operation to the next level.

Recommended Vehicle Spec: Ford Transit T-350 HD, SRW, 148″ WB, High Roof, Extended Length, AWD. Other Chassis Options Available.

Installation of equipment to convert supplied cargo van into a Mobile Hose Vehicle (MHV). All equipment to be sourced and supplied by Heritage Industries unless specified otherwise below:

INTERIOR / EXTERIOR:

• Cat® approved configuration and external graphics package
• Custom designed aluminum shelving, spool rack and workbenches manufactured by EZ Stak
• Anti-slip and oil-resistant spray-on liner in work area
• Interior wall lining for side walls and rear doors
• Hose coupling bin labels with part number, smart code, description, compatibility and QR code link to Parts.Cat.com
• Fire extinguisher mounted in work area
• Grab handles for 3-point contact ingress / egress

ELECTRICAL:

• 12v DC power system with electrical control box
• Cat® AGM battery (Group 4D 12v 200Ah)
• 2,000W pure sine inverter
• 2x GFI outlets installed in work area

LIGHTING:

• External wig-wag hazard safety lights, front and rear
• Roof mounted warning beacon
• LED flood lights inside rear and side entry doors
• Underbody lighting at side and rear entry doors
• Internal LED lighting for work area

TOOLING:

• Cat® EM3-DC 12V Hose Saw
• Cat® M6 12V Crimping Machine
• Die set rack
• Bench mounted 5” vise with swivel base and protective inserts
• 6-Gallon air compressor

SAFETY:

• Fire Extinguisher & Mount
• Recommend 5 lb. in operator’s cab
• Recommend 10 lb. mounted to side of bulkhead unit at side door entry
• Grab rails to support ingress / egress
• 2x Rear entry (left and right)
• 1x Side entry
